The iPhone 18 Pro 256GB is Apple’s 6.3-inch Pro smartphone, sold here in the dual-SIM version with one nano-SIM slot plus eSIM. It suits professionals, business owners and students who want strong cameras, long battery life and two phone lines on one device. Importantly, this version keeps the physical SIM tray, unlike the eSIM-only US model.
Key Features & Benefits
- Nano-SIM + eSIM dual SIM: Keep your Safaricom line on the physical SIM and add Airtel or a work line by eSIM. Additionally, travellers can add a local data eSIM abroad without removing their home SIM.
- 48MP camera with variable aperture: The main lens switches between ƒ/1.48 and ƒ/4.0, improving low-light shots and depth of field. As a result, product photos, events and documents look sharper without extra equipment.
- Up to 34 hours of video playback: Apple rates typical use at up to 23 hours. Therefore, most users finish a full workday or lecture day with charge remaining.
- Fast charging: 50% in about 15 minutes: With a 60W-capable adapter, a quick top-up between meetings or classes goes a long way. MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging run at up to 25W.
- A20 Pro chip with vapour-chamber cooling: Video editing, gaming and on-device Apple Intelligence run smoothly without heavy throttling. Meanwhile, 256GB storage holds thousands of photos, apps and offline files.

Students
Long battery life covers full lecture days, and the camera scans notes and whiteboards clearly. Additionally, iCloud and the Files app keep coursework synced with a Mac or Windows PC.
Content Creators and Online Sellers
Photograph products, shoot reels and edit 4K video on the phone itself. The 8x telephoto and macro lenses add variety without extra lenses.
Frequent Travellers
Add a local data eSIM when abroad while keeping your Kenyan nano-SIM active for calls and M-Pesa messages. Dual-frequency GPS also improves navigation in dense city centres.
Will It Work With Your Setup?
Does this iPhone 18 Pro have a physical SIM slot?
Yes. This version has one nano-SIM tray plus eSIM. The US version is eSIM-only, so confirm the model before buying elsewhere.
Does eSIM work in Kenya?
Yes, where your carrier supports it. Safaricom and Airtel Kenya offer eSIM; check activation steps with your carrier.
Can I use two lines at once?
Yes. You can use nano-SIM + eSIM, or two eSIMs, with both lines active.
Does it come with a charger?
No. The box includes only a USB-C cable. For the fastest charging, use a 60W-capable USB-C adapter with AVS support.
Will my old Lightning accessories work?
Not directly. The iPhone 18 Pro uses USB-C, so Lightning cables need an adapter.
Is 256GB enough?
For most users, yes. However, about 12–24GB is used by iOS, and Apple Intelligence models use about 7GB more. Heavy 4K or ProRes shooters may prefer 512GB or larger.
Is it water resistant?
Yes. It is rated IP68 for up to 6 metres for 30 minutes. However, liquid damage is not covered by warranty.
Does Apple Intelligence work in Kenya?
Apple Intelligence works when the device and Siri language are set to a supported language such as English. Some features vary by region.
